Eggs-ellent Easter Holiday

Every Easter the Wyatt side of my family all get together and wherever we end up we always have such a lovely time even including the holiday in Glossop where Dan, Sam and Dad continuously bumped their heads on the low beams.  Not forgetting the dreaded tummy bug that struck nearly each one of us on consecutive days.  Mum miraculously avoided it! It got so bad that we would be looking around the dinner table every evening predicting who was next to spend the day indoors.

So this year we headed to the big smoke to coincide with my gorgeous nephew Samson’s christening.  We stayed in an airbnb house and although it was very snug and somewhat quirky in terms of the décor we had a fantastic time.  We’re all besotted with Samson who has an infectious smile and is certainly one of the most photogenic babies I’ve ever met. The cousins got on so well as always and I’m already looking forward to next year.  We visited the Olympic village and the playgrounds were fantastic.  Rory was loving running up and down the rope bridge and Freya, Niamh and Martha spent what felt like hours digging in the sand pit.  We also had a whistle stop tour at the National History Museum and came as close as you can get to a real life dinosaur! Dad has suggested we go for somewhere along the coast next year which would be good…
